Let’s Vote!!! Who Had The Best Album In 2017?

The year 2017 is almost up and Nigerian entertainers did a fine job blessing the masses with different albums with some of this format seeing a lot of good play this year.

For me, Simi and Flavour did wonderful jobs on their album project this year and personally, they both would fight over the best album of the year if I were asked. Simi, in particular, gave the entire country a new and invigorating side of love songs in 2017

Falz’s ’27’ also did a splendid job as it was released at a time in Nigerian many rap fans were beginning to think the genre was slowly dying a painful silent death.
Ric Hassani with his debut THE AFRICAN GENTLEMAN also did not disappoint walking down a new musical path in this album, beautiful and stunning work of art, I must say. Mr. Eazi, Niniola, also did not disappoint with their projects.

The oldies in the game Wizkid, Harrysong, Tiwa Savage, D’Banj also came through this year, dropping something for their teeming fans while the likes of Skales did an unintentionally sour and somewhat fun noisy job for the culture this year. Olamide’s LAGOS NAWA, well 48-hours….Krizbeatz, another newbie, did a beautiful job bursting onto the scene with an ocean filled groovy hello.
