It may be seen as a transition that occurs over time due to some specific reasons.

Changes in way of communication, after marriage the content of Chat changes so does their behavior too. Their is a transition from a romantic perspective of life to being more responsible towards the future.
Responsibilities tend to change the person you have to think beyond love. You have to secure your kids future. Fulfill needs of the family members.
Having a sense of security, that she won't leave. They become lethargic in expressing feelings. They assume things and begin being less into love craving or showing.

Everyone is changing constantly. Sometimes for the good and sometimes for the bad.

Actually men are reported not to change after marriage.

One of the comments that I read long ago that stuck with me was:

Women marry men hoping they will change and they don’t.
Men marry women hoping they won’t change and they do.

Another thing I read and liked was:

Women marry men as a fix-em-up project. So fix-him-up. Ok, it never works.

They don't. You overlook their faults when you are dating them. However when you marry and live with them day in day out. The little things you overlooked become magnified.
