When I first saw the video you’re about to watch, the first thought that came to me was how it looked like a scene straight out of a Disney movie. It reminded me of that moment in Snow White when she’s surrounded by all the animals. I mean, it’s not everyday that a deer just walks up to you in your own backyard.
But that heartwarming scene ended as quickly as it began due to a very unexpected guest!
When the video begins, a woman was sitting on the steps near the back of her house feeding a deer.
Her husband was filming the peaceful scene.
But right when the deer seemed comfortable enough to enjoy her food, she suddenly tensed up.
The deer began looking around frantically for something.
The woman initially didn’t know what happened until she noticed some birds chirping loudly and getting closer.
“Oh it’s just a bird, it’s just — oh my God!” she yelled.
Just a few feet across from them in a nearby lake emerged a huge alligator!
The deer took off running and the couple followed suit, edging as far back as they could while still keeping an eye on the big reptile.
And that gator? Well, he just casually rolled up closer to the house and laid down as if to say, “Any food for me too?”
